Major League Baseball is returning to one of the most iconic settings in American sports as the Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins prepare to meet at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa.

MLB at Field of Dreams returns tonight, bringing regular season baseball back to the Iowa cornfields made famous by the 1989 movie Field of Dreams.

The Phillies and Twins will face off in the third edition of MLB’s Field of Dreams event, with the game scheduled for Thursday, August 13, 2026.

There are few sporting venues quite like the Field of Dreams.

The location became famous following the release of the 1989 film starring Kevin Costner, Ray Liotta, James Earl Jones and Amy Madigan. The movie became one of baseball’s most enduring stories and was later selected for preservation in the U.S. National Film Registry.
