Former MLB Cy Young winner Trevor Bauer is making serious noise in his return to U.S. professional baseball.
In just his second start for the Long Island Ducks, Bauer delivered a seven-inning no-hitter, showing flashes of the elite form that once made him one of the most dominant arms in the game.
The right-hander was in complete control from the first pitch, allowing just one baserunner via walk while striking out seven in a clinical outing.
Bauer faced minimal resistance throughout the game, attacking hitters with precision and efficiency. He needed just 84 pitches (54 strikes) to complete the performance, highlighting his command and ability to work deep into counts without losing control.
After a rocky return to U.S. baseball earlier in the week, this outing sends a clear message Bauer still has the tools to dominate.
The no-hitter not only marks a huge milestone for the Ducks, but also strengthens Bauer’s case as he looks to work his way back toward higher levels of professional baseball.
For Bauer, this isn’t just another start it’s a statement game.
- Dominance ✔️
- Efficiency ✔️
- Command ✔️
If this form continues, expect plenty more eyes on Long Island as Bauer’s comeback story gains momentum.
I would love to see Bauer back in the MLB but this is highly unlikely as it seems he has been black listed with MLB teams.
