Cal Raleigh 3 Home run Night highlighted Monday night as he delivered a career performance.
Additionally, the Mariners beat the Phillies 9-2 at T-Mobile Park.
The win ended Philadelphia’s season best nine game winning streak.
It gave Raleigh his first career three home run game.
Additionally, Raleigh became the first Seattle player to hit three homers at T-Mobile Park.
The Phillies struck first, taking an early 1-0 lead, but Seattle responded immediately.
Julio Rodríguez launched a three run home run before Raleigh added a two run blast off Phillies ace Zack Wheeler, completing a five run first inning for the Mariners.
Seattle had quickly turned a one run deficit into a commanding 5-1 lead, and the offensive pressure did not stop there.
Raleigh returned to the plate in the fifth inning and went deep again. Cole Young followed with another home run as Seattle continued its assault on Wheeler, who was chased from the game after allowing eight runs in just over four innings.
Raleigh then completed his unforgettable night in the seventh inning, hitting his third home run of the game off reliever Chase Shugart.
The three blasts gave Raleigh 17 home runs for the 2026 season and marked the first three homer performance of his Major League career.
Raleigh became the 13th different Mariners player to record a three home run game. It was the 15th three homer game in franchise history, with Ken Griffey Jr. and Edgar Martínez each accomplishing the feat twice.
However, Raleigh’s performance was particularly significant because it was the first three homer game by a Mariners player at home since Martínez achieved the feat in 1999. It was also the first ever at T-Mobile Park, which opened in 1999 as Safeco Field.
The performance was a major moment for Raleigh, who had endured a difficult 2026 campaign at the plate.
After entering the night with a .159 batting average and 14 home runs, the Mariners catcher delivered biggest offensive performance.
It was his first multi homer game since his 59th and 60th home runs during his historic 2025 season.
Raleigh’s incredible 2025 campaign saw him hit 60 home runs, making his struggles this season an unexpected storyline. Nevertheless, Cal Raleigh 3 Home run Night showed why he remains one of the most dangerous power hitters in baseball.
Seattle hit five home runs in total, with Rodríguez, Raleigh and Young all going deep.
Logan Gilbert earned the victory after pitching five innings, while the Mariners bullpen closed the game with four scoreless innings. Philadelphia managed just five hits, with J.T. Realmuto hitting a solo home run.
The final result was an emphatic one:
Seattle Mariners 9, Philadelphia Phillies 2.
For Cal Raleigh, this was more than just another good game.
It was a career first, a historic night at T-Mobile Park and a much-needed breakout performance during a difficult season.
Three home runs. Five Mariners long balls. A 9-2 victory over one of baseball’s hottest teams.
The Mariners catcher had never hit three home runs in a game before.
Now, he has a night that will be remembered in Seattle for a long time.
Cal Raleigh went supernova — and the Phillies were caught directly in the blast.
