Tonight marks the return of roaring engines, thundering tyres and the unmistakable scent of clay and adrenaline as the gates open for the 2025-26 season of racing at Lake Liddell Speedbowl in Muswellbrook, NSW. The home of small car speedway is back in full force, and for fans, drivers and crews it’s a night brimming with promise.

The Stage Is Set

Located at 400 Hebden Road, approx. 25 minutes north of Singleton, Lake Liddell Speedbowl boasts a tightly banked, clay surface oval purpose built for speedway. The unique shape and scale of the track deliver intense, wheel to wheel action that brings fans to the edge of their seats.

Promoted as “Track or Treat” the 2025/26 is upon us and kicks off in style with over 90 drivers confirmed for the opening night and entries coming from across the east coast, the field promises to be stacked with talent eager to make their mark.

What to Expect

The program tonight will showcase multiple classes from Non Wing 600 Micros and Junior 600 Micros, to Sportsman, Lightning Sprints, and the acclaimed POWRi Racing Australia KartStars and Junior KartStars.

From the opening flag , expect:

  • Intense qualifying heats, where drivers test the clay, the banking and their nerve.
  • Feature races where driver skill, car setup and split second decisions separate the victors from the pack.
  • A vibrant crowd atmosphere—families, die hard speedway enthusiasts and drivers’ crews will fill the stands. Spectators are encouraged to bring chairs or rugs and gear up for a great night out.
